Method Optimization System Triple Capillary Column GC - Features
Significantly Quicker Investigation of Separation Conditions
Due to the impurities or organic solvents that can remain in drugs, it is important to optimize the analytical method. However, investigating the analytical conditions for several columns with different liquid phases involves complex and time-consuming tasks, such as replacing the columns and waiting for the instrument to stabilize.
The Shimadzu Method Optimization System (Triple Capillary Column GC) simultaneously acquires separation information for three columns from a single sample injection. This significantly reduces analysis times, enabling more efficient investigation of separation using columns with different liquid phases by eliminating column replacement and by significantly reducing the time waiting for the instrument to stabilize.
Three-Column Simultaneous Analysis of 12 Organic Solvent Components
This is an example of the simultaneous three-column (Rtx-624, Rtx-WAX, and Rtx-1) analysis of 12 organic solvent components with the Method Optimization System (Triple Capillary Column GC).
It shows that a component inadequately separated in one column may be separated in a different column.
Such analysis results enable users to select the best column for a target component.
Easy Handling Easy Column Installation and Replacement
Columns are installed using the same graphite ferrules and nuts used for a normal single capillary column.
Tightening the graphite ferrules and nuts on the three columns eliminates concerns about gas leaks or a column coming loose during the analysis. (Compatible with 0.53 mm I.D. wide-bore columns.)
