The problem of waste is an unavoidable part of human social life. In addition to proper waste disposal, we must also promote the international promotion of the 3Rs, consisting of reuse, reduce, and recycle, toward a resource-recycling society. We are working to solve these waste problems by providing a variety of analytical methods.
One cause of soil pollution is the burial of harmful substances in the soil due to improper disposal of waste. It is possible to confirm the presence or absence of pollution by analyzing the waste and sludge that cause it. Examples of analysis of household waste and industrial waste are introduced.
