Bisphenol A in Environmental Water

Bisphenol A is an ingredient of polycarbonate resin that is used in numerous industrial products. However, it is suspected to be an endocrine disruptor. GC/MS is often used for the analysis of bisphenol A but the required derivatization reaction takes a long time, making HPLC a more convenient method of analysis.

Analysis of Pond Water

High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph

High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph

This separation/analysis instrument is widely used for the quantitative analysis of chemical substances. It is used with a combination of detector and mobile phase that suits the analysis target components. For analysis of bisphenol A, an electrochemical detector with high selectivity and high sensitivity is used, because the existence of complex impurities in environmental water is expected.
