The month of October saw a galore of webinars being showcased as part of Digital Classrooms. We featured 2 live webinars on 'The Intelligent Solution for Stable Analyses: Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) Workflow and Selection' and 'Streamline and Optimise your Analytical Workflow for Vaccine Testing', which was conducted by various Shimadzu experts. While the former showcased how the New Nexera GPC System can help simplify your workflow and increase your efficiency using AI or Analytical Intelligence, the latter highlighted how Shimadzu analytical tools can help with the development and quality control of different types of vaccine products.
 
 
Additionally, we featured Mr Pravin Tyagi and Mr Abhinandan Sharma from Shimadzu Analytical India Pvt Ltd, who provided the latest updates on RoHS and RoHS2 regulations, a sneak-peek into the current Indian scenario and also highlighted various testing methods, in their webinar 'RoHS : Regulatory compliance and it's solutions'. 
 
 
We also featured Mr Earl Mckoy from Shimadzu UK, who conducted a series of 2 webinars focussing on 'Semi-micro to Analytical Scale LC Purification' and on 'Semi-Preparative Scale LC Purification'. This series of webinars is perfect for anyone currently using Preparative LC, who would like to understand more as well as those new to the technique.  
 
 
Furthermore, we had the priviledge of showcasing our Key Opinion Leader - Dr Sanjay Tiwari, Director, Biotech Research - from industry giant, Lupin Limited. He highlighted the need and importance of in-process analysis of cell culture spent media by LC-MS/MS, with a case study on Cell Culture Profiling in his webinar, titled 'Bioprocess Challenges and Learnings'.  
 
We also featured a webinar on 'EDX: A Fast & Simple Technique for Pharmaceutical Elemental Analysis' by our Scientific instruments experts Mr Mizuno Motohisa and Mr Tan Teck Beng.  This webinar showcased how we could use Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Fluoroscopy (EDX) as an alternative technique to perform elemental analysis in Pharma that requires little sample preparation, is easy to use and can provide results quickly.

Last but certainly not the least, we had another Mass Discussion webinar on 'For the Love of Food! Food Safety and the Analysis of MCPD in Edible Oils' in which our Key Opinion Leader Prof Tan Chin-Ping from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Dr Shalene Goh from Gerstel LLP provided an update on the regulatory status and the various analytical methods that can be applied for the analysis of monochloropropane diol (MCPD) and glycidol contaminants in edible oils.
