Challenges and development of LCMS

In this final chapter, we discussed the needs of industries today and the current challenges of analytical LCMS, with special emphasis on the factors that limit the efficiency and performance of LCMS. We elaborated on how Shimadzu overcome these challenges and develop new technologies to increase the performance and enhance the sensitivity of these analytical instruments. Notably, Shimadzu developed the Ultra-Fast Mass Spectrometry (UFMS) and other key analytical techniques for present and future global needs.
