Observation Examples of Polymers

Surface observation of polyethylene film was performed to simultaneously obtain a 3D image and a Viscoelastic image. In the Viscoelastic image on the right, the lamellar structure can be observed; crystallization is more advanced in whiter parts, which are harder. Each image covers an area of 1 µm x 1 µm.
